I picked one up at a local trash 'n' treasure market and went OUCH as the prickles stuck into my fingers. The stallholder said 'oh my dear you don't touch them'. Well there was no sign telling me not to!! I avoid them now. Pain reflex memory and all that. I'm always on the look out for it here though it does take some careful handling.
